The Starting Point
Woken Coffee sells compostable espresso pods in a category where the search results page belongs to a handful of giants, and the brand sat so deep in the rankings that shoppers never saw it. This engagement ran during our agency years, where we worked the account inside a larger team, and the job was to move a buried catalog into positions that actually get impressions.
What The Work Looked Like
Keyword ranking was the whole game, so the listings were rebuilt around the search terms the category actually converts on, and the PPC structure was pointed at the same terms so paid impressions reinforced the organic climb. Buy box percentage was monitored listing by listing, because a pod brand loses the sale instantly when the box slips, and proactive catalog care kept it held.
What Moved
The focus product climbed more than 10,000 positions in Amazon search, and the traffic followed the rank, because sessions rose 117% over the prior month once the listing surfaced where shoppers look. Total sales moved 17% in a single month from $12K to $14K while PPC sales went from $1.8K to $2.4K, and the account kept compounding from there because rank gains in this category hold as long as the conversion rate holds.
The full playbook that came out of these years now runs as code on our current accounts, and the recent case studies show it with daily dashboards attached.
